About the Client

Global Petroleum or gp (name changed intentionally) is a multi-national oil & gas company headquartered in Europe. It has a high rank in the Fortune 500 companies and is one of the seven oil & gas “supermajors”.

About the Project

Digital Control Panel (DCP) is a subset of GP that digitally monitors oil & gas retail process from Retail site to Consumers, which was initially developed without the intervention of designers

The ask was redesign the existing dashboard for tracking fuel transactions right from the source level of fuel extraction to fuel delivery at Petrol pump.

Problem Statement

To redesign the digital control dashboard for easily tracking fuel transactions and their implications across the globe

Design Process

To design a holistic pet food buying experience for pet owners covering multiple Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) brands

A leading multi-national Fortune 500 brand specialized in chocolates, confectionary, pet food and othe products desired to design, develop and enhance the websites of multiple pet food brands under their scope.

Focussing on the e-commerce domain, the client requirement was to create a standardized design across all brands, with interesting features that it will appeal to customers (pet owners) both aesthetically and functionally and will cater to their pet’s needs and wants.

Design Solution

A simplified dashboard showing complete overview of all fuel transactions in single view



Data visualization based on widgets

The information was segregated and arranged into widget layout as seen in the screens. The arrangement, alignment, type of graph was decided and customixed as per the requirement of each section.


Complete Overview of Fuel Transactions

The ultimate goal was to create and appealing and user-friendly environment for the petrol pump users and managers to track digital transactions. In order to achieve the same, a clean structured layout was introduced with logical segregation of widgets and it was made sure that the dashboard pages give complete overview of the activity undertaken.


Responsive Design

The design is responsive as it caters to various screens sizes - Desktop , Mobile, Tablet


Simplification of complex terminology

Simplified terminology was achieved by modifying complex terminology such that user can understand it and providing tooltips wherever required and elaborating on abbreviations
